Who we are
This website (umi-technologies.ch) is operated by Karim Kouny on behalf of UMI Technologies, an EPFL spin-off in formation from the Laboratory of Wave Engineering (LWE) and Microwave and Antenna Group (MAG). For any question about this policy or your data, contact karim.kouny@epfl.ch.
What we collect
When you use the contact form on this site, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, organization (optional) and the content of your message. We do not collect this information anywhere else on the site.
How we use it
Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your inquiry — for example, about RF consulting, custom development, licensing or general questions. We do not use this information for marketing, and we do not sell or share it with third parties.
Retention
We keep contact form submissions only as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your inquiry, and delete or anonymize them afterward unless you ask us to keep them longer (for example, for an ongoing business relationship).
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand overall traffic to this site (for example, which pages are visited). It does not use cookies and does not track you individually across sites.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can ask us to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. Email karim.kouny@epfl.ch and we will respond as soon as we can.
Changes
As UMI Technologies grows, this policy may be updated to reflect new tools or processes. We will update the date at the top of this page whenever it changes.
